Five Points reopens to traffic

Work on the Five Points intersection in Davenport has been completed and barricades were being removed late this morning, according to city officials.
The intersection where Locust and Division streets and Hickory Grove Road all meet was closed late last week for resurfacing. It was scheduled to reopen at the end of the week, but a collapsed sewer line kept the intersection closed through the weekend while work crews repaired the line.
Workers were able to wrap up the project this morning and reopen the intersection to motorists.
