You could drive in style this fall after Bettendorf Community Schools Foundation raffles a new 2006 red Pontiac Solstice sponsored by Piehl Motors.

Through the “Raffle My Ride” project, someone also will win an 8-foot Stanton pool table sponsored by Pleasure Pools and Spas, and a 42-inch Sony LCD rear-projection TV sponsored by Automated Lifestyles.

Raffle tickets are $10 each. The drawing will be held Friday at TouVelle Stadium, Bettendorf.  Tickets can be purchased at the Mad Potter, 5153 Utica Ridge Road, Davenport. They also are for sale at all schools in the Bettendorf School District.

The mission of the foundation is to enhance the educational opportunities for students through the development and distribution of funds. Last year, the foundation granted money to fund 10 projects totaling almost $9,000. Since 2002, the foundation has granted more than $25,000 to Bettendorf Community Schools.
