Bariatric patients star in fashion show

Members of the Trinity Bariatric Institute support group will stroll the catwalk in a fashion show at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, in the student center at Heritage Wesleyan Church, 4801 44th St., Rock Island.
Support group members, all of whom have undergone gastric bypass surgery, will model clothing from The Dress Barn in Davenport and Eddie Bauer, SouthPark Mall. Ducky’s Formal Wear will provide tuxedos for the event’s ushers.
The event is free and open to the public. Support group members will be available to answer questions and talk about their first-hand experiences. Information: Trinity’s MyNurse, (309) 779-2000.
