Bettendorf teen to host charity fashion show

Pleasant Valley High School junior Christie Bain will host a fashion show Oct. 14, with proceeds benefiting Hand-in-Hand, a Bettendorf organization that helps special needs children and young adults. Tickets are $30 per person for table seating, dinner and a drink or $15 for stadium-style seating.
The fashions to be shown come from Maurices, a clothing store with locations in Davenport and Moline.
The “Fall into Fashion” Charity Fashion Show will be held Oct. 14 at Savitri’s at 111 W. 2nd St. in downtown Davenport. Doors open for a buffet dinner at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. For tickets or more information, call Bain at 332-6122.
