Campbell’s Soup will stay “M’m! M’m! Good!,” but it is changing colors for October in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Beginning Oct. 1, nearly 7 million cans of two of the company’s most popular soups — tomato and chicken noodle — will appear on grocery-store shelves in pink-and-white labels instead of the traditional red-and-white.
And, the gold medallion on the label will be replaced by the iconic pink ribbon that symbolizes breast-cancer awareness.
Red and white have been Campbell’s condensed-soup colors since 1898 — after a company executive adopted the colors of the Cornell football team.
