A free program today for seniors will feature demonstrations, exhibits and tips on adding safety and assistive amenities to their home.
The program, sponsored by Senior Voice, will be from 1-3 p.m. at the Davenport Public Library Fairmount Street branch, 3000 Fairmount Ave.
Homebuilder Dan Dolan will discuss home improvements and the costs of adding safety features for seniors who wish to stay in their own homes. Cindy Housenga of Main and Locust Pharmacy will demonstrate various aids that can assist seniors with everyday activities.
She also will have information for everyday wellness activities to improve strength.
