Bettendorf

 Medicare help — A program on Medicare and health insurance will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 7 at Bettendorf Public Library, 2950 Learning Campus Drive.

 Golf cart tour — A free senior golf cart tour of the Duck Creek Recreation Trail will depart at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sept. 18 from Palmer Hills Golf Course on Middle Road, Bettendorf. The event will consist of a tour of the trail from the course’s clubhouse downstream to the turnaround point in Riverdale and back. Drivers will be provided for those choosing not to drive. Stops will be made along the way. For reservations, call Bettendorf Parks and Recreation Department at (563) 344-4113 beginning Sept. 6.

Davenport

 Friendly House events — Stretching and core strength training with yoga and light weights will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. Fridays and Tuesdays at Friendly House, 1221 Myrtle St., Davenport; bingo from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesdays; ceramics from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesdays and 9:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesdays and Fridays; euchre from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesdays; discussion on the relationship between health, friendship and spirituality, 10:30-11:15 a.m. Tuesday; ice cream, 1-2 p.m. Tuesday in the community room; “Wizard of Oz,” 12:15-2 p.m. Wednesday; board the Channel Cat water taxi at 1 p.m. Friday at Lindsey Park Landing, Davenport, and then have Lagomarcino’s in the Village of East Davenport.

 Healthy eating — As part of the Senior Voice program, Generations Area Agency on Aging will present an interactive session about the Chef Charles Nutrition Program and GenAge cafes from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at Davenport Public Library-Fairmount Street, 3000 N. Fairmount St.

Today — Line dancing, 8:30-11 a.m., Celebration Hall; advanced ceramics, 9:30 a.m. to noon, ceramics room; cosmetics and skin care class, 11 a.m. to noon, arts and crafts room; pinochle, 12:30-4 p.m., arts and crafts room; billiards, 1-4 p.m., billiards room; extra gentle yoga, 1-2:15 p.m., music room.

Wednesday — YMCA exercise class, 9-10 a.m., Celebration Hall; TOPS, noon to 1:30 p.m., arts and crafts room; pinochle, 12:30-4 p.m., Celebration Hall; ballroom dancing, 12:30-2:30 p.m., Celebration Hall; extra gentle yoga, 4-5:30 p.m., music room.

Thursday — Square dancing, 9:30-11:30 a.m., Celebration Hall; New Horizon Band, 12:15-1:45 p.m., Celebration Hall; assisted open studio, 12:30-3:30 p.m., arts and crafts room; euchre, 1-4:30 p.m., Celebration Hall; bingo, 5-10 p.m., main hall.

Friday — Golden Tones, 9-10 a.m., Celebration Hall; book club, 10-11:30 a.m., library; bridge, 12:30-4 p.m., Celebration Hall; bingo, 12:30-3:30 p.m., Celebration Hall; euchre, 1-4:30 p.m., ceramics room.

Quad-Cities

 Golf cart tours — Several golf cart tours will be offered to seniors from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 7. The tours, sponsored by River Action and Quad-City Prosthetics, include the Davenport, Moline and Rock Island riverfronts as well as Arsenal Island and Rapids City, Ill. Silvis, Ill.

 Foot care — Learn about nutrition and the proper care of feet and toenails from 2-3:30 pm. Tuesday at Larson Center of Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis. To register, contact Western Illinois Area Agency on Aging, (309) 793-6800.
