Scott County

Monday: Meatloaf, potatoes, cream corn casserole, bread, pears and coconut cream pie.

Tuesday: Fish with tartar sauce, rice blend, apple coleslaw, bread and apricots.

Wednesday: Salisbury steak with gravy, noodles, peas, fruit, bread and a chocolate chip cookie.

Thursday: Chicken steak with gravy, potatoes, pickled beets, bread, oatmeal raisin bar and orange juice.

Friday: Pork loin with gravy, potatoes, spinach, bread, strawberry shortcake and mandarin oranges.

n Center for Active Seniors Center — Call (563) 386-7477 at least 24 hours in advance for reservations. A suggested donation of $2.75/meal for guests 60 and older, and $5 for guests younger than 60 is requested.

n Generations Area Agency on Aging — Call (563) 324-9085 at least 24 hours in advance for reservations. Serving times and open days vary at each of our meal sites. A suggested donation of $2.75 for guests 60 and older, and $5 for guests younger than 60 is requested.

n Friendly House — The menus for Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday also will be served 11:30 a.m. at Friendly House, 1221 Myrtle St., Davenport A suggested donation of $2.75/meal for guests 60 and older, and $5 for guests younger than 60 is requested. Call Lynn, (563) 323-1821, by 11:30 a.m. the preceding day to make reservations.

n West Park Presbyterian Church — The menu for Tuesday also will be served noon at West Park Presbyterian Church, 4209 W. Locust St., Davenport. Call (563) 391-0236 for reservations.

Rock Island County

Monday: Ravioli, pears, vegetables, garlic bread stick and strawberry shortcake roll.

Tuesday: Polish sausage with a bun, potatoes, sauerkraut and a peach half.

Wednesday: Chicken breast, potatoes, green beans, sheet roll and cake and ice cream.

Thursday: Barbecue rib patty, au gratin potatoes, vegetables, bread, banana.

Friday: Meatballs with gravy and noodles, carrots, salad with dressing and a chocolate cupcake.

n Project NOW Senior Centers — Meals are available at Project NOW’s 13 social centers throughout Rock Island County for a suggested donation of $2.25. (Project NOW’s home-delivered meal program offers essentially the same menu as noted here for a suggested donation of $3). Special diets available. To find the location of a senior social center near you, call (309) 788-6335. Twenty-four hour advance notice is best, although walk-ins are welcome.
