WOODHULL, Ill. —  The new levy for the AlWood School District was approved in the amount of $2,112,553. Last year’s levy was $2,057,930.

In other news, the Woodhull Village trustees recently passed a new ordinance concerning teens under 18 smoking on the street, public areas and in the parks. There is to be no smoking in these areas and those seen smoking will be fined.

Trustee Dan Swanson prepared spread sheets showing the mileage and costs of football players having to travel in the present Lincoln Trail Conference. It was 1,281 miles as compared to traveling 525 in the Olympic Conference.
