Moline Township to host holiday dinner

Seniors who live in Moline Township, and their guests, can enjoy a holiday dinner with all the trimmings today at Moline Township. Along with the dinner, guests will be treated with a visit from Santa Claus and lots of holiday music.
Moline Township will host the Christmas dinner for Moline seniors who attend the Moline Activity Center at 11:30 a.m. today at Moline Township Hall, 620 18th St.
The dinner will be served by Township Supervisor Jo Anne Lambrecht-Peck, Assessor Dave Hendrickx, Town Clerk Don Johnston, and Trustees Don DeTaeye, Bonnie Johnson, Ethel Perez, and Jan Erikson-Vroman.
Sen. Mike Jacobs, D-East Moline, will make a special announcement about funding for a parking lot for seniors who attend the Moline Activity Center. Seniors who have not signed up for the dinner can do so by calling 764-3558.
