BHS sports banquet June 1

Bettendorf High School will host its annual All Sports Banquet at 6 p.m. June 1 in the high school cafeteria to recognize the female and male athletes of the year.
All athletes, families and friends are invited. Tickets are available in the activities office for $8, and will be on sale through Friday. There is a limit of 250 tickets and tickets will not be sold at the door.
Guest speaker will be Ed Banach, former University of Iowa All-American wrestler and current Iowa State University wrestling coach.
Finalists for Female Athlete of the Year are Hila Anderson, Melanie Anderson, Shannon Burge, Jill Klosak and Megan Lonergan.
Finalists for Male Athlete of the Year are Pat Angerer, Chris Ivory, Tim Jackson, Quinn McVey and Greg Reckman.
