Sedona opens new Muscatine office
Sedona Staffing Services, with two offices in the Quad-Cities, has opened a branch at 1602 2nd Ave. in Muscatine.
This will be the 31st Sedona office nationwide, according to Rick John, Sedona's
president.
Dispatch circulation numbers questioned
The Moline Dispatch might have to recount its most recent circulation numbers because of its online editions.
The Audit Bureau of Circulations told the paper that it can't count several thousand of its online customers who automatically receive an electronic edition because it doesn't allow for cancelations.
Dispatch circulation manager John Newby said Wednesday that the paper is appealing the decision. "It's not really a recount," he says. "They're attempting to disallow electronic editions, which is the basis of our appeal."
The paper reported 24 percent daily and 19.3 percent Sunday gains for the six months ended March 31.
Talbots relocates
Talbots has announced plans to expand and move from Duck Creek Plaza to NorthPark Mall by late summer or early fall.
The new store will be a side-by-side format with a Talbots and a Talbots Petite.
