History: Boothill Ridge is an up and coming contemporary country group, that specializes in full four part harmonies and high energy stage shows. The band consists of five members aging from 18 to 23. The group's lead singer, Kodi Lynn, has been performing in front of audiences since she was 5 years old. Kodi was an Illinois All-State Honors vocalist, a finalist in the Jimmy Dean Country Showdown and the Colgate Showdown. She has performed for the Festival of Trees, Music City Dance Competition in Nashville, and countless festivals, fairs and pageants. Guitarist, pianist and band manager, Derek Frank, studied music at Eastern Illinois University. While there, he studied percussion and music education. He was also an Illinois All-State Honors vocalist. He is currently the Lesson Studio Coordinator at the River Music Experience, and teaches drum and guitar lessons there. Guitarist, Tyler Kargl, shines through with his fast finger picking and harmonies. Tyler was also an Illinois All-State Honors vocalist. Tyler was a finalist in the Illinois State Fair talent show. Bass player, Dusty Bausch, is the heart of the rhythm section in the band. His solid foundation and unique bass lines bring a lot of style to the music. Drummer, Todd Rolfs, is currently studying music at Western Illinois University. Todd has received best of day in several Illinois music competitions.
