Ashley Baird and Adam Christy

Ashley Baird, Des Moines, is engaged to Adam Christy, Des Moines. She is the daughter of Kellen and John Baird, Shueyville, Iowa, and granddaughter of Terry and Patricia Fiala, Solon, Iowa, Joan Baird, Springfield, Ill., and the late Phil and Iva Baird. Adam is the son of Becky and Mark Christy. His grandparents are Reverend John and Marilyn Christy, all of Davenport, and the late Lloyd and Grace Jones, Manson, Iowa.
The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Iowa and is employed by Hentschel Art Gallery, Des Moines. Her fiancé also graduated from the University of Iowa and is employed by Windsor Windows, Des Moines. They will be married on September 20 at First Presbyterian Church, Davenport, with a reception following at the Redstone Room at the RME.
